Thomas William¹ Loghrin
b. Jan. 8, 1909 - d. Nov. 30, 1986¹        

Tom was born at the homestead at Speedside, Eramosa township.
He married Florence Bryans March 31, 1945.
They farmed at Marsville on the Fergus-Orangeville road for 31 years from 1945 to 1976.  Tom was actively involved in the United Church all his life, in Barrie Hill until 1945, in Marsville until 1976 and at Melville United in Fergus.¹  Florence was also a church member.
Tom passed way at Wellington Terrace¹ and is buried in the Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus.²  At the time of her death, Florence lived at Eden House on the Wellington Rd. only a few miles from the original Loghrin homestead³.
