Lillian Marguerite Cook                                        John Ellison Gorrell
b. Dec. 26,1901 - d. July 24, 1997¹


Marguerite was born in Toronto and baptised in the Bloor street Presbyterian Church by Rev. W.G. Wallace¹.  After completing high school, she trained as a teacher and taught school in Toronto.²
She married John Ellison Gorrell, son of Talbot John Howe Gorrell and Katherine Parmenter, on Tuesday evening, Sept. 20, 1930, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicago Heights, Illinois.  He practised medicine and surgery in Chicago.¹
Later they moved to Milwaukee where he was connected to a hospital.
In 1968, they moved to Riverside, California where he worked in a hospital.³  Marguerite died in Oakland, California.¹  Obviously, the family lived in several places across the United States.
