Annie Mary Loghrin
b. Mar. 16, 1878 - d. 1981¹

Annie was born at the homestead, Speedside, Eramosa township.
She married George Alexander Clayton, son of George Clayton and Jane Kirk², on Dec. 20, 1903. He was teaching school at Arkel, Ont. and this was her first home.
They lived at 78 Kathleen St. in Guelph, Ontario when Elizabeth and Gertrude were born.*
They moved to Edmonton, Alberta in 1912.  He was principal of Queens Ave. School.  His brother Jim who was in the lumber business at that time there, built them their home when he knew they were coming.   George retired in 1941, then was principal of Veterans training school until 1947.  He died there in 1949.
Will Keith enjoyed a visit with her when she was east in August, 1967.

George Alexander Clayton
b. Nov. 10, 1873 - d. 1949
This is Grandfather Loghrin's (Thomas b. 1810) plot in the Johnson cemetery, Barrie Hill.  The picture was taken in August, 1967.  Annie Clayton and myself were the last two first cousins left at the time.  Annie's mother and father are buried right behind her.  No doubt our conversation was the Loghrin's, we didn't know this was taken.  (Will Keith, 1968)
