William James Keith
b. Oct. 29, 1891 - 



Will was born in Pilkington township on the home place, Lot 4, Concession 2.  He worked with Hobbs Hardware, Elora; later he went to Aurora; then with H.S. Howland Sons & Co. wholesale hardware in Toronto.  He joined the staff of Marshall Wells Ltd, at Winnipeg as representative.  Later he returned to Belwood where he had a hardware and tinsmith business.  He married Mary Sinclair Oct.27, 1920; later they moved to Guelph where she died Dec. 12, 1923.  They had no children.
Later he joined the Roofus Supply Co. Ltd., Toronto as representative and married Emma Grace Draper Aug. 16, 1933.  Later this firm moved them to London, Ontario.
In 1940 he went to Ottawa with Federal Government purchasing hardware for the three armed forces World War 2.  In 1956 was retired then represented Builders Sales contacting all Government Dept.
