Thomas (Neddie) Loghrin Hanna                                
b. Mar. 19,1866¹ - d. Sept. 2, 1929²
                        
Tom was born in Eramosa Township³ before his father moved to farm in West Garafraxa Township.  Tom and Ann grew up on farms in West Garafraxa.
Thomas Lougrin [sic] Hanna married Ann Hammill, daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Hammill, on Oct. 16, 1889³ and they farmed in Garafraxa and Peel Townships*. 
This note appears in the Hanna Family Bible regarding Annie's death, "Mother went to hospital on Apr. 14, operation May 8, died May 9, 1915 and buried on May 12." After Annie's death, Tom's son, Loyd, took him to join several of the family in Richardson, Saskatchewan.  Tom had been hurt in a gravel pit and was crippled.**  He died from a stroke he had suffered the previous April.²
His body was returned to Belwood, Ontario;  he and Annie are buried in Carmel Cemetery, #70.*
