The view to the southeast across Sage Creek
Badlands National Park is south of Wall, South Dakota.  After we enjoyed a 99¢ huge scoop of ice cream in Wall, we set up camp near Sage Creek.  There were limited services;  just an outhouse and a place to park.  The two hour ride was through countryside that contrasted greatly to the Black Hills but was interesting none-the-less.
Circle the wagons?  No, they are picnic shelters.
Those are buffalo in the background.  We left them alone and they left us alone!
We stayed only one night and moved on but it was a worthwhile stop.  It's a unique piece of countryside.
